IPL 2024 captains who'll miss T20 World Cup 2024

Shubman Gill, representing the Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024, has accumulated 322 runs in 11 matches.

Although not part of India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad, he serves as one of the four reserve players. 

Shreyas Iyer, leading the Kolkata Knight Riders, has contributed 257 runs across 10 matches in IPL 2024.

He has also showcased an impressive tally of 1104 runs in 51 T20Is for India.

Ruturaj Gaikwad, captaining the Chennai Super Kings, has amassed 509 runs in 10 matches during IPL 2024

He  has also showcased his prowess with 500 runs in 19 T20Is for India.

KL Rahul, at the helm of Lucknow Super Giants, has scored 406 runs in 10 matches of IPL 2024

 With his last T20I appearance for India dating back to November 2022 during the T20 World Cup.

Faf du Plessis leads the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2024

Despite his last T20I appearance for South Africa being in 2020.
